A new meme’s been making the rounds — The Thinking Blogger Awards. I’ve got to throw some very heartfelt thanks to HappyChyck and Ms. George for both nominating me, but before that happens, the rules say I’ve gotta give the award to five other bloggers out there who make me think.
- 1. Christian over at think:lab. Without a doubt the one blogger whose thoughts about the state of education really get my mind moving (and twisting and turning).
- 2. nani at Se Hace Camino al Andar. Every time nani posts, you get smarter. ‘Nough said. Oh, and she’s a sucker for memes.
- 3. Dick over at The Life That Chose Me. The hardest workin’ man in the teaching business, Dick is a passionate and strong-minded fellow. His blog will take you deep into the difficulties surrounding special education.
- 4. mrc at the math blog understanding. Mathematics have never been my strong point — and yet, the way mrc writes about them makes me want to take his class. His writing is sharp and clear, and I always await a new post from him.
- 5. Wesley Fryer at Moving at the Speed of Creativity. He’s another blogger who writes about the changing state of education, and his posts are thoughtful, well-researched, and chock-full of information.
Man, I wish I could hand out a few more of these things! There are so many others I wanted to tag, but most of them alreeady had one of these doorstops. For a lost of others I would have nominated, check out the blogroll on the right. Anyway, rules are rules — now these five must go and each hand out five more. Again, my thanks to HappyChyck and Ms. George for giving one to me. I truly appreciate it.
