Call for entries!

Time again for the weekly Your Day in a Sentence edu-meme! All you have to do is boil your day down into one sentence. The sentence may be “short and sweet” or “long and labored.”

Leave your sentence in the comments section of this post. The roundup will be posted in a special edition on Sunday morning.

And again, Big up! to Kevin for taking over Last week’s installment.

  1. I woke up this morning a parent of teenagers who greet me with, “You’re ruining my life”–overnight my children turned into my students!

  2. A full-blown day with lots of adventures: 2 hours on a radio show, breakfast on the house, lunch with a view of the Gunks, and a crtical decision to finalize and all of this before a long ride home, an hour of guitar practice and American Idol for dessert.

  3. Parents come in, sit and talk about their kids with such interest that it makes me feel as if we should have a conversation every single week instead of during conferences — although the parents we really WANT to come in and chat about the work and effort and attitude of their children rarely ever follow up on the offer.

  4. Are you asking me to choose between books and heat?
