This reminds me of a David Wagoner poem called “Lost,” in which this is my favorite line, “Wherever you are is called Here and you must treat it as a powerful stranger” (2,3).
I love your Friday Haiku. I did one this past Monday, and then tried a sonnet (my lovelies and I are immersed in poetry right now).

I’ll definitely have to read that Wagoner poem, as that’s a setiment I’ve been struggling with lately.
